Lakshadweep Ship Ticket Booking: Official Source Guide

There are two official starting points in the Lakshadweep Administration website.

Its How to Reach page links the Lakshadweep Port portal for ship tickets. Its current ticket-counter directory links the Lakshadweep passenger reservation website at lakshadweep.irctc.co.in.

Because those Administration pages point to different booking addresses, begin from a current government page rather than a link copied from a blog, advertisement or message.

Passenger ticket and package booking are different

Use passenger ticketing when you need transport on a particular notified sector.

Use the SPORTS tourism source when you are assessing a package that combines the ship with accommodation, meals, island visits or activities. The Lakshadweep Samudram information is an example of a ship-based tourism product.

Ask for a complete inclusion list before comparing the two.

Information to have ready

Before starting a ticket search, confirm:

passenger names as shown on identity documents
passenger category
destination island
intended travel date
return date
permit position
confirmed accommodation
required travel class
contact details that will remain available during travel

This page does not reproduce a portal registration process because screens and required fields can change. Follow the current instructions shown by the official system.

Check the booking record before payment

The selected result should make these items clear:

origin and destination
sailing date
vessel
travel class
passenger details
amount payable
reporting or boarding instructions
cancellation conditions

Do not proceed only because a ship name appears in an article. The chosen sector must exist in the current reservation result.

If online booking is unclear

The Administration publishes a Port Ticket Counter in Kochi at the Department of Port Shipping and Aviation office on Willingdon Island. The directory reviewed on 18 August 2026 lists phone 0484 266 8371 and email dd-kch-lkp@nic.in.

Treat the current Administration directory as the source for contact details. Recheck it before using a saved number.

Fares require a live check

A government notice records a passenger-ship fare revision order dated 31 May 2025. The notice does not establish that every amount in that historical document remains the current visitor fare.

This guide therefore publishes no fare table. Check the amount returned for the actual sector, date, class and passenger category.
