How this site handles facts

Go2Lakshadweep is an independent planning reference for the Lakshadweep archipelago. Most of what a traveller needs to know about the islands is decided by an authority and can change without warning: who needs a permit, what it costs, which islands a permit covers, when ships sail, and which transfers run in a given season. This site exists to point at those decisions and say when it last read them.

Where the information comes from

Anything that can change is taken from the body that decides it, principally the Lakshadweep Administration, its ePermit and port portals, and the SPORTS tourism department. Each guide lists the documents it drew on, and a superscript marker in the text links a specific claim to the specific source behind it.

Every page carries the date it was last reviewed against those sources. That date is not a publication timestamp and is never refreshed to look current. If a page says it was reviewed in August, an August reading is what it reflects.

What this site will not do

• It does not invent figures. Where an official source does not publish a permit processing time, a document checklist or a sailing schedule, the relevant page says so and leaves the gap open rather than filling it with a plausible number.
• It does not claim first-hand experience it cannot evidence. Where this site has not verified something itself, it reports what the source states and attributes it.
• It does not present operator marketing as fact, and it does not take payment for favourable coverage.

This is why several pages here are less confident than competing articles about the same topic. A guide that quotes an exact approval time the Administration does not publish is not better informed. It is guessing.

Costs and commercial relationships

The site currently carries no affiliate links and no sponsored placements. If that changes, any commercial relationship will be stated on the page it affects rather than in a footer disclosure.

Corrections

If a figure here contradicts what an official portal currently shows, that is a defect and we want to hear about it. Reach us through the contact page, and include the page and the source you are looking at.
