Kavaratti appears in more than one tourism format. One trip may include an overnight island stay. Another may keep passengers onboard a ship at night and visit Kavaratti during the day. These are materially different bookings.

Read the accommodation line first
The Administration’s general accommodation page says that some tourism products provide overnight accommodation onboard the ship and serve visitors ashore during day visits. Its package catalogue also describes Kavaratti-linked products.
Before comparing a price, ask:
- How many nights are actually on Kavaratti?
- What is the exact property and room category?
- Are any nights onboard a passenger ship?
- Which meals are included on the island and onboard?
- How does the traveller reach and leave Kavaratti?
If the written itinerary does not answer these questions, the stay format is not clear.
Flight-linked Kavaratti stay
The Administration identifies Agatti as the island with the airstrip. Its package catalogue describes a flight-linked Kavaratti format via Agatti. A flight ticket to Agatti is therefore not the final connection.
The quotation should identify the onward and return island sectors, pickup points and the plan if a connection changes.
Ship-based visit
A ship-based tourism product can use the vessel for overnight accommodation and include a daytime Kavaratti visit. Do not describe this as a Kavaratti hotel stay.
