Reconfirm before booking. The official Kadmat page describes tourist huts and activities but does not prove current rooms, package dates or transport. Obtain written confirmation for the complete itinerary.
Kadmat has one of the clearer official accommodation references in Lakshadweep. The Administration says tourist huts are situated in coconut-palm groves by the beaches facing the lagoon. It also describes water-sports facilities and a scuba-diving centre.
That establishes the type of visitor infrastructure. It does not establish vacancy, tariff, room condition or transport for your dates.

Two official references to understand
Kadmat island page
The island page describes tourist huts and activities. Some wording also refers to a six-day Marine Wealth Awareness Programme. Because descriptive pages can remain online after schedules change, do not treat that reference as a current departure.
Tourist-packages page
The Administration’s package catalogue describes the Marine Wealth Awareness Programme as a Kadmat stay linked through Agatti. Check the current official booking position before using the described route, duration or inclusions.
What to request in writing
Ask the booking source to state:
- exact accommodation name and room category;
- number of nights on Kadmat;
- mainland sector and Agatti connection, if used;
- every onward and return island transfer;
- permit support and islands covered;
- meals, drinking water and activities included;
- taxes and compulsory charges;
- cancellation and disruption terms.
Do not use “Kadmat resort” as sufficient identification. A generic label does not tell you whether the seller means a tourist hut, a package stay or another property.
Independent stay or package?
An independently quoted room still needs transport and permit support. A package can connect those parts, but the package name alone does not show current inventory or all inclusions.

Common questions
Does Kadmat have tourist accommodation?
The Administration's Kadmat page says tourist huts are situated in coconut groves by the lagoon. Its general accommodation page also describes SPORTS island accommodation. Neither page is a live vacancy calendar.
Can I assume the Marine Wealth package is available?
No. An official package description establishes the format, not current inventory. Check the linked official booking source or obtain written confirmation for your dates.
Should I book the room before transport?
Confirm both together. Kadmat does not have the airstrip identified by the Administration, so the itinerary needs a confirmed island connection.
