Step 2: Write the complete route

Official SPORTS pages currently show conflicting Samudram figures. Use the amount generated for the selected available product and dates. Confirm GST, payment-gateway charges and optional items before payment.

Step 6: Read cancellation and disruption terms

The SPORTS portal publishes terms and a cancellation page. It tells users to check payment history for successful bookings and says bank or payment-gateway transaction charges apply extra.

The cancellation page publishes deductions tied to the number of days before departure. Recheck the live policy for the chosen product. Also ask what happens if a flight, sailing or island transfer changes and affects another separately booked sector.

Step 7: Save the travel file offline

Keep:

• package confirmation and receipt;
• transport tickets;
• issued entry permit;
• identity documents required for travel;
• accommodation and transfer contacts;
• cancellation terms captured at booking;
