Agatti Airport: Verified Arrival and Transfer Guide

Agatti Airport is the air gateway for Lakshadweep. It is not proof that the rest of the itinerary is ready.

What the primary sources establish

The Lakshadweep Administration identifies Agatti as the only airport in the Union Territory. Airports Authority of India publishes Agatti Airport contact information and identifies AAI as the aerodrome operator in its aeronautical information.

AAI’s airport contact page includes the airport address, Airport Director details and current airline contact entries. Use that page when you need an official starting point for an airport or airline issue.

This guide does not copy phone numbers because contacts can change. Open the cited AAI page for the current details.

Before the flight

Keep these records together:

• flight booking and baggage terms;
• entry permit record;
• accommodation confirmation;
• name and contact of the arrival pickup;
• onward island transfer, if the stay is outside Agatti;
• return transfer and flight.

If you are staying on Agatti

Ask the property or package provider for:

1. the legal property name;
2. airport pickup name and contact;
3. room and meal confirmation;
4. permit support;
5. return airport transfer;
6. disruption and cancellation terms.

If you are continuing to another island

The flight ends at Agatti. The next sector must be treated as a separate operational dependency.

For Bangaram, Kadmat, Kavaratti or another island, confirm:

• final island;
• arranging party;
• pickup point;
• reporting time;
• vessel or transfer type only when the provider confirms it;
• baggage conditions;
• return transfer;
• weather disruption policy;
• responsibility if the arriving flight changes.

Do not infer a boat schedule from the Administration’s descriptive tourism pages. They are not live inventory.
