Landing at Agatti

Agatti Airport is the air gateway for Lakshadweep. It is not proof that the rest of the itinerary is ready.

What the primary sources establish

The Lakshadweep Administration identifies Agatti as the only airport in the Union Territory. Its Port, Shipping & Aviation page, last updated on 27 August 2026, names Kochi, Bengaluru and Goa services to Agatti.

That department page is a dated network snapshot, not a live timetable. Use the airline booking result and flight-status service for the actual travel date. This guide does not copy phone numbers, schedules or fares because each can change.

Before the flight

Keep these records together:

• flight booking and baggage terms;
• entry permit record;
• accommodation confirmation;
• name and contact of the arrival pickup;
• onward island transfer, if the stay is outside Agatti;
• return transfer and flight.

A permit requirement is separate from an airline ticket. Use the entry-permit guide before travel.

If you are staying on Agatti

Ask the property or package provider for:

1. the legal property name;
2. airport pickup name and contact;
3. room and meal confirmation;
4. permit support;
5. return airport transfer;
6. disruption and cancellation terms.

The Administration pages reviewed do not publish a live property-by-property inventory for Agatti. Use the Agatti accommodation checklist before paying.

If you are continuing to another island

The flight ends at Agatti. The next sector must be treated as a separate operational dependency.

For Bangaram, Kadmat, Kavaratti or another island, confirm:

• final island;
• arranging party;
• pickup point;
• reporting time;
• vessel or transfer type only when the provider confirms it;
• baggage conditions;
• return transfer;
• weather disruption policy;
• responsibility if the arriving flight changes.

Do not infer a boat schedule from the Administration’s descriptive tourism pages. They are not live inventory.
